The rough plumbing passed inspection. Next is wiring then the walls go up.
Still moving along. Our target date is Monday July 6th. Very exciting !!

Concrete

The concrete was poured.
Next step - studs

Things are moving along.

The "rough" under slab plumbing was finished yesterday and we passed inspection today.
















Things are starting to fall into place. The concrete will be poured soon and then up go the studs.

Cutting concrete

Well the crew was out there today cutting the concrete and removing the dirt to lay the pipe for the plumbing.



They did an excellent job.

Next they will lay the pipes - then the inspection.

Work Begins !!!!!

Well we met with the contractor and the plumber today. The contractor started laying out the floor plan on the floor. Soon we will have studs up and it will start looking like a vet clinic.

The plumber dug there test hole today - they need to find the drainage pipe and see how deep it is. Looks like things are in good shape for our new bathroom.

Permits and Postcards

We have received our permits from the town - now the real fun begins. We will start first by tearing up the floor and adding the drains/water for the new bathroom. After that its walls and fixtures.

We sent postcards out today to all our clients announcing our move. We are very excited to see things moving forward.

Permits

We are in a holding pattern right now - waiting for the township to approve all our permits. I was told this could take a while and also a few revisions.
Once we get the approvals then the fun begins. We will first start by digging a trench for the new bathroom. Once that is complete then we can start putting up walls, putting down the floor, and redoing the ceiling.
There is so much to do but we can't do anything. Soon :)
